Casual Sports does not currently offer visitor accounts, checkout, comments, or newsletter signup forms. We do not ask visitors to submit names, email addresses, payment information, or login credentials through the public site.

Like most websites, our hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages requested, timestamps, and error logs. We use this information to operate, secure, debug, and improve the site.

The site displays sports schedules, rankings, matchup context, editorial content, and related metadata. This information may come from our own editorial workflow, database providers, sports data providers, public sources, or automation tools.

Inbound editorial and automation payloads may be stored in our database so we can publish and update content across the website and connected social accounts.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate usage: which pages are viewed, and which parts of the site people interact with, such as opening a matchup brief or changing a board filter. It is cookieless and does not build a profile of you or follow you across other websites.

We use Sentry to record application errors so we can find and fix broken pages. Error reports are configured to exclude personal information, and request headers, cookies, and request bodies are stripped before a report is sent.

We do not use advertising pixels, behavioral ad targeting, cross-site tracking, or visitor account cookies. The site itself sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.

Some of what you read on the site is written by an AI model, including matchup briefs, storylines, players to watch, and tactical notes. These are labeled where they appear.

Generated text is checked against verified statistics before it is published, but it can still contain errors. Treat official league sources as authoritative for scores, statistics, and player availability. There is a feedback link on every brief if you spot something wrong.

Generating this content sends match details such as team names, dates, competitions, and public statistics to Google's Gemini API. We do not send visitor information as part of that process.

We use information to operate the site, rank and display games, publish content, maintain security, troubleshoot errors, understand aggregate usage, and protect the integrity of our write endpoints and publishing workflows.

We do not sell visitor personal information. We also do not use visitor personal information for targeted advertising in the current product.

We use service providers for hosting, databases, sports data, scheduled jobs, AI content generation, and error monitoring. These currently include Vercel for hosting and analytics, Neon for the database, Google for the Gemini AI model, Sentry for error monitoring, GitHub for scheduled jobs, and sports data providers including ESPN, MLB, and football-data.org.

These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us, subject to their own terms and policies.

Because we do not currently maintain public user accounts, most visitor information is limited to technical logs and operational records. You can contact us to ask about privacy requests, corrections, or deletion where applicable.

If we introduce accounts, newsletters, paid products, or advertising tools, we will add more specific controls and disclosures before or when those features launch.

Casual Sports is a general-audience sports site and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy as the product changes. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page.
